EFLM - European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine
The ACBI is the National Society of EFLM. EFLM connects National Societies of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine and creates a platform for all European “Specialists in Laboratory Medicine”. EFLM provides European leadership in Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine to national professional societies, the diagnostic industry and to governmental and non-governmental organisations in order to serve the public interest in health care.

IFCC - International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine
The ACBI is the national society of the IFCC and has full member status. The International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) is a worldwide, non-political organisation for clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine. As such it has a range of roles that include (1) global standard setting in collaboration with other international organisations, (2) supporting its members through scientific and educational endeavour, and (3) providing a series of congresses, conferences and focussed meetings in order for laboratory medicine specialists to meet and present original findings and best practice.
