Lucille Kavanagh is a Principal Clinical Biochemist at Dublin’s Mater Hospital. She graduated from UCD with BSc Hons in Cell and Molecular Biology and was later awarded a PhD from UCD.
She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists in 2024 (FRCPath), and is on the EFLM’s European Register of Specialists in Laboratory Medicine (EuSpLM).
Lucille has served as Honorary Treasurer of the ACBI since 2025.
